The latest in digital storytelling: an NMC conference presentation this morning

This morning I’m offering a workshop on the latest developments in digital storytelling, at the New Media Consortium’s summer conference.

Here’s the description:

Digital storytelling has come a long way in just a few short years. This session surveys the state of the art, pointing out new technologies and practices and their educational uses.

Presenters will begin by assuming mobile devices are the primary devices for users, and describe which tools work best in that milieu and emerging best support practices.

Social media for storytelling will be explored, including Twitter and podcasting.
