Virtual and mixed reality in education: Maya Georgieva on this week’s Future Trends Forum

Maya GeorgievaThis week the Future Trends Forum continues exploring emerging technologies for education.  Our guest will be Maya Georgieva.

Maya is cofounder of and partner in Digital Bodies, a design and consulting firm specializing in mobile, wearable, and virtual technologies.  She and I, plus participants in the Shindig environment, will discuss virtual reality, augmented reality, and emerging mixed reality in terms of their educational implications.  (For more information on those techs, check out my post about a very useful recent Kevin Kelly article)

The date and time: this Tuesday, May 17th, from 2-3 pm EST. (Yes, we usually meet on Thursdays, but my schedule didn’t work out this time)

News and information about upcoming Future Trends Forum events can be found here.  You can find links to previous Forum events, including extensive notes and full video recordings, here.
