The next Future Trends Forum features Casey Green and the Campus Computing Project

This week the Future Trends Forum continues, as we dive deeply into how colleges and universities are currently using and strategizing about information technology.  The great expert on these subjects is our new guest, Casey Green.

Casey Green, Campus Computing ProjectCasey is probably best known for creating and curating the Campus Computing Project, a superb information source for how institutional leaders actually deploy and think about technology.  It’s been going on for more than a decade, so the longitudinal aspect yields great material for trends analysis.

Casey is also the research lead behind Going Digital, a brand new study of faculty attitudes towards digital materials, which I blogged about earlier this week.

In addition, Casey is a blogger and commentator, writing for Inside Higher Ed under the header Digital Tweed.

I plan on asking Casey about Going Digital and the latest CCP results, aiming to identify forces shaping education and technology over the near and medium-term future.
