A fine group of folks have agreed to join us from 11-noon EST:
- Stephen Downes, one of the inventors of the Massive Open Online Course. Stephen leads the Learning and Performance Support Systems program at the National Research Council, a multi-year effort to develop personal learning technology and learning analytics.
- Jaime Casap, the Chief Education Evangelist at Google.
Jaime evangelizes the power and potential of the web, technology, and Google tools as enabling and supporting capabilities in pursuit of creating powerful learning models.
- Perry Samson, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Atmospheric Science at Univeristy of Michigan and creator of weather website Wunderground. Perry was named Distinguished Professor of the Year in 2010 by the President’s Council of Universities in the State of Michigan.
- Scott Reinke, Coordinator for the Ball State Achievements program at Ball State University (which received a 2015 Campus Technology Innovators award).
I’ll ask each person about their work and how it illuminates the future of education and technology. Please join us.
Attendees are able to ask guest speakers questions, engage and collaborate with other leaders in education technology and invite friends!
