Today’s Future Trends Forum: Robert Archibald and higher education economics

What is happening to higher education economics?

Bob ArchibaldThat’s the question professor Robert Archibald will help us address in today’s Future Trends Forum.  Chancellor Professor of Economics at The College of William & Mary, Bob is a leading expert on higher education finance.  He co-authored the excellent and useful Oxford University Press book, titled boldly Why Does College Cost So Much?

This is enormously important stuff.  I plan on asking questions about the major drivers of economic change in colleges and universities, about the impact of technology, changes in academic labor (think adjunctification, growth of administration), and the role of state funding in public higher ed.

What economic questions would you like to ask?

This is the tenth Future Trends Forum, which is a nice milestone, and a little breathtaking.  You can find information, notes, and video recordings of previous sessions here.
